Greetings from the chief priest

Thank you for visiting our homepage. My name is Akimitsu Kawamura (domain name: Daigu) and I am the 34th president of this mountain. He received his appointment on March 30, 1998, and in May 1999 he completed the Shinzan-style memorial service. He trained at Reunion in 2014 under the guidance of his apprentice Shōhō, and this year marks his 21st year as chief priest. He graduated from Komazawa University's Department of Zen Buddhism, completed his master's degree at the university's graduate school, and entered the doctoral program in the same year, taking a leave of absence for his second year and residing at Daihonzan Eiheiji Temple. In 1975, he entered the Ryohonzan Zuisei Pagoda and was appointed the official teacher of the Soto sect in the same year.  After graduating from graduate school, in addition to working as an assistant to the chief priest of Toyama, he also served as a town history editor, high school instructor, and director of the Soto Zen Volunteer Association.Until March 31, 2005, he served as a director of the Momou Town Welfare Council and chairman of the Momoo Town Children's Association Training Association. I did. He previously served as a juvenile guidance officer at the Kahoku Police Station, and in May 2007 was appointed Miyagi Prefectural Police Cyber ​​Patrol Monitor, and was reappointed in 2018.  In addition to these activities, during the early days of personal computer communications, I hosted the PC-VAN SIG ``Bozu no Tsuji Sermon'' and served as an operator for 10 years. I have been using e-mail for over 30 years. He has been a user of 8-bit computers since the dawn of the era, and keeps all of his old computers in working order. Assembled computers are lined up on the mountain. .  The domain was acquired in 1996, and we hope to become a temple at the earliest. Speaking of Domain, in the memorable year of 2002, I was once again appointed the secretary-general of the Miyagi Prefecture Yudo-kai (Eiheiji-affiliated organization), and subsequently served as the president as well.  Every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, he teaches at Tohoku Fukushi University in Sendai, where he is now in his 25th year as a part-time lecturer. This year as well, he is in charge of two courses: ``The Mind of Zen,'' the first term ``Introduction to Religious Studies,'' and the second term ``History of Japanese Buddhism.'' He is in charge of the elective subject ``Humanity and Religion'' in the correspondence course that started in 2003, and has many students.  In response to the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, we immediately started volunteering at a soup kitchen, and in the fall, with the support of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Jonan Shinkin Bank, we established NPO Shiraume, a specified non-profit corporation, to help those affected by the disaster. We are continuing our local support activities.  The passenger car registered as a corporation was 11 years old in February 2003, and was scrapped on February 19th. The mileage was 265.567 km. Currently, it has become a car called Honda Accord 2.4 Viera. As of May 2018, it has covered 270,000 km.  Due to municipal mergers in 2005, Momou County became Ishinomaki City, and the residents of Momoo Town became Ishinomaki Citizens.
